Your spring break group chat is the trip’s only infrastructure. These messages move it from “we should go” to “home safe,” one step at a time. Tap copy, paste, edit the names and times. Fun, clear, not cringe.
1. Pitch the trip
PCB spring break 2027. Who's actually in? Weeks run Feb 27 to Mar 26. One week, one place, one card each. Reply with a yes or a no. "Maybe" is a no until it's a yes. Headcount locks Friday.
2. Lock the week
Vote for the week you can ACTUALLY make (check your real school break, not vibes): Week 1: Feb 27-Mar 5 Week 2: Mar 6-12 Week 3: Mar 13-19 Week 4: Mar 20-26 Most votes wins. Voting closes Sunday night.
3. Lock the place
Week is locked. Next: the place. I'm booking for all of us this week. Shares are split by bed, I'll post the numbers. No booking, no trip, so please pay your share by the date I post.
4. Everyone buy your card
Card time. Each person needs their own PCB Club Card for our week. Ultimate $200 (all night) / Platinum $100 (free until 11 PM) / Fred's Card $80 (8-10 PM at Fred's only), all + taxes and fees. 5. Money's due
Friendly reminder that is also a deadline: shares for the place are due tomorrow at 8 PM. Paid: ✅ in the chat. If something's up with money, DM me today, not tomorrow at 7:59.
6. Pickup day
PICKUP DAY. We go together to the Welcome Center at Hammerhead Fred's (8752 Thomas Dr). Pickup is Noon to 11 PM. Bring: your valid photo ID + your order confirmation (screenshot it now, signal is a gamble). Meet in the lobby at 3. Cards first, beach after.
7. Night-out check-in
Tonight's plan: Meet out front at 9:30. Buddies: same as last night. Meeting point if we split up: outside the main entrance. Platinum crew, we're inside before 11. Nobody leaves alone. Rides home are sorted before the first drink.
8. Home safe
Rule: say "home" when you're back. Last one in checks the door. No "home" from your buddy? Call them, not the chat.
9. The morning after
Morning. Day plan: Beach by noon, food at 2, nap at 5 (optional but encouraged). Tonight is posted at 6. If you're skipping tonight, say so. No guilt, just a headcount.

What should a spring break group chat be called?

How do you get people to commit in the group chat?
